The tiny branch


Did the first watercolour some time last year and when the branch was still fresh. I remember that the shadow cast by the morning light interested me just as much as the branch itself. The second one, I did this year (and posted) in a more stylised way, was when the branch had been well and truly dried and…squashed!

Quite like the observing and the imagining ways of drawing. Also, quite nice to revisit the same object in a slightly different way. I’ll keep it and see what happens when I revisit a third time…
