I don’t think you’ve met Chloe, my six (6) year old niece as yet. Here she is. Not particularly happy. We were doing some stencilling – hence the yellow – shapes – and it wasn’t working as she wanted. Little fists slam down the pastels. Shoulders hunched. A little pout appears.
I guess it is frustrating when you can’t see another way.
It didn’t help when she saw this use-up-leftover-paint doodle attempt. Is that me, she asked? Can you draw me happy, she demanded? I’ll try, but could you kind of look a bit happy? And she did. Easy come, easy go. That’s good.
