Not much blogging, but still drawing – little drawings to make a few simple stationary sets as little gifts.
When rummaging around for ideas, I’m going through sketchbooks – quite a few by now.
It’s kind of a way of reviewing what I have been doing. Needless to say, there are a lot of balcony plant sketches. Some plants have since drooped, gone and new ones added – an inadvertant record of balcony life!
Oh are those your Japanese paints? They look almost hood enough to eat. 😊

They’re just a kids 36 palette I liked the look of at Tweed Head Gallery. The ones I’m sure I’ll ‘need to’ get very soon are the Kuretaki Gansai Tambi set ☺️
I’m pleased I don’t live next door to an art supplies nor book shop.

Great colours, i thought they looked like they may have a bit of body colour in them.

Yes they have more pigment than usual kids sets. I didn’t keep the packaging and not sure which brand they are.

Thank you – I’m finding it challenge to do a number of sets in time and so trying hard to keep it simple. Maybe a photocopier might help 😉
