Plein air drawing is a busy activity – shielding the eyes from the sun, fighting off ants, balancing a little drawing book and avoiding the eyes being overwhelmed by the many choices of what to draw. Truth be known though, these scribbles would still be the result!
This is the Hawkesbury River which is a small village that is a pleasant one hour train ride from Sydney.

Love the scribbles and the Hawkesbury. Glad to see the railway bridge makes an appearance. I must say that the section of the rail trip between Gosford and Berowrah is one of my all time favourites.

I like the near flatness of the water and the time-in-the-past feel of the area. Also loved the views from the ferry going to Dangar Island. Thank you.
